Traveling as a plant-based foodie can be an exciting adventure, but it comes with its challenges. With a little preparation and the right mindset, you can enjoy delicious, nourishing meals wherever you go. Whether you’re exploring bustling cities or remote getaways, these top 10 tips will help you stay true to your plant-based lifestyle while making the most of your travels.

  1. Research Local Options Ahead of Time

    Use apps like HappyCow, Yelp, or Google Maps to find plant-based restaurants or markets at your destination. Write down places you want to try ahead of time and make a fun Tour-de-Plant-Based out of it!

  2. Stay Hydrated!

    Travel often leads to dehydration due to factors like dry airplane cabins, increased activity, and irregular routines. Hot or humid climates, along with diuretics like caffeine or alcohol, can also exacerbate fluid loss! Sometimes what we think is hunger can really just be thirst, make sure you are drinking water!

  3. Stay at Accommodations with Kitchens
